Chongka' Game Day

Join us every Sunday in March for chongka’ games in celebration of Mes CHamoru. First recorded in Guam in 1904 by a German commander, and believed to have been introduced to Guam as far back as the early 18th Century, chongka’ has without a doubt become a part of with Chamorro culture. All are welcome to   learn how to play or enjoy the nostalgia in the game. Chongka’ boards will be available to the first 20 pairs. All are also welcome to brings their stories and memories of the game, or their heirloomed chongka’ boards for show.  

The Atrium

Located on the second floor of the Guam Museum, the Atrium overlooks the Spanish era Plaza de España and its beautiful historic grounds. Framed by the stylized arched value of the Museum, the Atrium offers a cool and refreshing location for daytime or evening functions such as corporate gatherings, weddings, receptions, dinners or special celebrations.
