Documentary: Chasing Coral

Documentary Film: Chasing Coral
Saturday, September 9, 2017 — 2:00 p.m. — Museum Indoor Theater

The first in a film forum series a part of Humanities Guahån’s “Hita i Hanom” programming, Chasing Coral documents the drastic coral bleaching and unprecedented deterioration of coral reefs around the world. As Guam’s own coral reef system has also shown massive effects of coral bleaching, the film is presented together with the Guam Museum and Guam Community Coral Reef Monitoring Program/NOAA as a call to action. A panel discussion will follow the documentary. A mini expo consisting of local environmental organisations will also take place during the afternoon with information about how you can help protect our coral reefs.
