Film Premiere : Before we Began Counting Years.”

The Guam Musuem welcomes Father Francis X. Hezel, SJ, for a premier of his film “Before we Began Counting Years.” Father Hezel is the founder of the former Micronesian Seminar (MicSem) organization and an author of numerous works on Micronesian history and society. His 45-minute documentary surveys archaeological works in Guam, Tinian and Saipan to offer a theoretical glimpse of early, pre-latte settlements and of what life may have been like.

Our indoor theater offers state-of-the-art audio/visual technology with a seating capacity of 156 guests in air-conditioned comfort. Our video projection system can accommodate any format for video presentations and our exceptional surround sound audio system can accommodate any format for audio presentations. The stage area also provides excellent opportunities for small theatrical and musical performances as well as lectures, panel discussions and formal presentations. Wireless and wired microphones, podium, lighting, and internet connectivity are also available. A technician can be made available to assist you. The theater has a separate access from the main museum hall and a small lobby space with restroom facilities. Food and beverages are not allowed in the indoor theater.
