Ha’ånen Famila – Family Day

Ha’ånen Familia — Bailan Cha Cha’

Guam Museum Multipurpose Room
Saturday, 12th August 2017 — 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Cha Cha became particularly popular in Guam after World War II, along with the Jive, the Jitterbug  and the Tango.  Today, the Cha CHa can be seen at every fiesta and throughout the community, and has become identified with CHamoru culture.  For “family day” this month, learn about the history of dance on Guam, and join Inetnon Gef Pa’go member, Alejandro Gagarin and the team at the Guam Museum for a fun Cha Cha instruction class!

To reserve a space, contact Danielle Subido at the museum at 989-4455.
