HITA Talk: Papa Mau: The Way Finder

The Guam Museum is honoured to partner with Humanities Guåhan to present this very special HITA Talk that looks at the legacy of Micronesian master navigator, Mau Piailig, through a documentary film showing of “Papa Mau: The Way Finder,” produced by Pacific Islands in Communication (PIC). This month’s HITA Talks will also include a panel discussion following the film.

The Museum Indoor Theater

Our indoor theater offers state-of-the-art audio/visual technology with a seating capacity of 156 guests in air-conditioned comfort. Our video projection system can accommodate any format for video presentations and our exceptional surround sound audio system can accommodate any format for audio presentations. The stage area also provides excellent opportunities for small theatrical and musical performances as well as lectures, panel discussions and formal presentations. Wireless and wired microphones, podium, lighting, and internet connectivity are also available. A technician can be made available to assist you. The theater has a separate access from the main museum hall and a small lobby space with restroom facilities. Food and beverages are not allowed in the indoor theater.
