In case you missed her last October, batik artist Judy Flores will be hosting another special art session just for kids. Just like last time, participants will learn the basics of batik, a painting or drawing technique that uses wax-resist dyeing, usually on cloth, to produce interesting effects and colors. Kids who didn’t get a chance to participate in October are encouraged to sign up. The following conditions apply: • Space is limited to 20 children. Advance registration is required.
• Children must be between ages 7-12 years old.
• Only 2 children per family can sign up at this time.
• Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible parent or adult.
• Art supplies will be provided. Hot wax and dyes will be used and it might get messy. Please dress your kids appropriately.
Space is limited so call the Museum at
(671) 989-4455 to reserve a spot.
